Altiro has developed a novel iron-based energy storage system to provide on-demand heat and power for consumers.

We enable large renewable energy producers to stockpile and distribute cheap or excess energy to supply limited consumers.

Reusable CO2-free iron fuel is charged on- or off-site. When energy is needed, the system uses the fuel to produce clean heat or power, and rust as a bi-product. The rust is then recharged with renewable energy for the next cycle of energy storage.
